Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Atlas Runa's website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service are available only with a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or the networks connected to it.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
• Use automated systems to scrape or harvest data from the Service.
• Upload, post, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (e.g. notes, written practice, feedback). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have all necessary rights to submit it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and all associated materials (software, design, text, images, lesson content, and trademarks) are the property of Atlas Runa or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights granted in these Terms, no license is granted to you.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g. payment processors, authentication providers, analytics). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATLAS RUNA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Atlas Runa and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Atlas Runa is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
